About Kern County Medical Transport
Founded in 2025, Kern County Medical Transport has been providing safe, reliable, and compassionate non-emergency medical transportation services to our community. We understand the challenges faced by individuals with mobility limitations and their families when it comes to accessing medical care.
Our mission is to bridge the transportation gap for those in need, ensuring they can attend medical appointments with dignity, comfort, and peace of mind. All of our drivers undergo rigorous training in patient assistance, safety protocols, and defensive driving techniques.
From 12 years in 911 service, we recognized a strong need for non-emergency transport in Kern County. We created KCMT in order to fill the gap in medical care and planning that is felt by those in need who believe they have no method to seek care. It is our goal that with proper cooperation and integration into the patient care plan, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those needing care. We want everyone to know that they have the resources to seek care and we hope to improve the community by providing ample access to those necessary appointments.
Through growth and consistency, we believe we can solve the problem posed by an overwhelmed medical service system.
